HOW TO GET AHEAD IN LAW
Our Legal System is based
on an adversarial approach.
Two advocates: Platiff's attorney
and Defendant's attorney.
A Judge with almost unlimited power
of decisionmaking.
You get the wrong man off or
convict the wrong man and get
promoted to higher levels in the legal
system there's no way for personal
retribution or vindication.
In essence, the law is a tool of attorneys
and judges rather than they being a
tool of neutrality where it is concerned.
Individuals sometimes playing God
and making errors that cost another
individual money or time or reputation
or all three.
