WOMEN IN POLITICS

I, the individual wonder if Julia
Roberts or one of the other
Hollywood Starlets could get
elected governor of California.

I, the Individual male wonder
why women would want to go
into public life for any reason.

I, the individual male want to
go into business and maybe
an appointed government
position.

Elections seem like such mean
affairs.

I, the Individual Male will never
meet hollywood starlets.

I, the Individual Male could meet
lower leve state female lawmakers
in South Carolina, North Carolina,
Florida.

Its a possibility if your interested
in politics in those states to see
these women.

I, the individual male get to look
at Julia Roberts on TV, but I get
to meet a female state lawmaker
if I am interested in politics.

Both are on TV and one is closer.

In essence, most individual males
have to content themselves with
women close at hand and there's
nothing wrong with that.

HEALTHCARE BILL AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR

There are projected to be 58 new government
agencies for the healthcare bill.

Those jobs will produce no direct benefit for the
economy.

More red tape less fabrication.

The Private Sector will lose jobs in health
insurance.

In medical products manufacturing.

In doctors offices.

It is what you might call dumbing down
economics on private sector healthcare.

An end to private sector healthcare.

A Revolution in the expansion of
government at the expense of shrinkage
of the private sector.

In essence, more bureaucrats less medical
innovators.

THE STIMULUS BILL

I have watched the TV debate on
the Stimulus Bill for months.

I have seen no local benefit and very
little national benefit.

Where has the money gone?

Of that, I have seen very little evidence.

How much is still in escrow?

That I do not know.

A giant spending bill that is a mystery.

What will the public say?
President Obama no more taxation, until
you explain the mystery.

What will historians say?

They'll chalk it up to a failure and pork or
earmarks.

Things lawmakers want rather than the
national interest.

A jobs bill no rat hole bill.

Libertarian Republican #346

What am I doing?
I would like to get into Financial
Services and the National Guard.

If you have been reading my blogs
then you know that I have a lot
of knowledge that is useful in only
a limited number of jobs.

I could probably be earning
$200,000 a year easy.

I cannot get those jobs because
of my current circumstances.

I would like to run for a lawmaker's
position, but that's for local people.

Yes, I have lived here for 30 years,
but I am not local.

I incorporated the public image each
one of these people project, but I retain
my upwardly mobile lifestyle elsewhere.

Necessity not conviction.

I, individual am going to be who I am
not some stupid little town's culture
demand's.

My point is I could be President of a
Bank making $100000 a year easy.

I should be at least a Colonel in
the National Guard making another
$100000 a year or so.

I watch these CEOs of companies
come and go wondering what goes
into a board of directors making such
poor choices.

I wonder why the public picks such
bad presidents, state lawmakers,
county council and city councilmen
plus weak personalities in mayors.

Why do we make such poor choices.

I know I could do a lot of those jobs
like a lot of people, but we do not
have name recognition or money.

I, the individual cannot reach my full
potential because of a lack of public
relations and money.

I, the individual have the skills,
personality, and knowledge to do high
management jobs in business, the military,
or government.

REGULATION OF THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY

I do not know how you regulate it.

I do not know what democrats are up
to.

I wonder if democrats are intent on
self-destructing.

The public like's stability in financial
services I am assuming.

Any change might produce a backlash.

I am for taking the loan money back
from banks and corporations and
loosening regulation.

The more businesses can invest the
better off everyone is in terms of
job creation.

Private Sector jobs are better than
public sector jobs any day of the
week.

Democrats who are my friends are
walking the plank for whatever
reason.

REAGAN AND COMMUNICATIONS

Reagan was a great Leader.

Reagan was a lousy manager.

Reagan was an Actor on TV,
Movies, and Radio.

Communications.

Reagan was born in Dixon,
Illinois.

Reagan lived in that state
most of his childhood.

Reagan went to Eureka College
during the 1930s.

He majored in economics, theatre,
student government (I think), and
football.

Reagan wanted to work at Montgomery
Ward's, but ended up in Radio in Iowa
talking about Football Games.

Reagan made his way to California.

Reagan did some Radio work out there.

Reagan made it into the movies.

Reagan did 50 movies over 25 years.

Reagan did 4 movies a year or ended
up in the 90% Tax Bracket.

Reagan worked for the FBI in the SAG
to root out communists.

Reagan went to work for GE in 1950
or so doing General Electric Theatre.

Reagan was big on television, until 1965
then entered California Politics.

Reagan was asked to run for governor.

Reagan won governor.

Reagan held the office for 8 years.

Reagan ran for president in 1968, 1976,
1980, and 1984.

Reagan was a great public relations
president who did not understand the
nuts and bolts of government.

Reagan was not curious, just intellectually
lazy and forgetful.

Reagan had hardcore principles.

Reagan hated taxation.

Reagan hated communism.

Reagan hated bureaucracies.

Reagan admired the private sector.

Reagan was religious.

Reagan was divorced.

Never talked about Jane Wyman.

Reagan cracked beers with Ted
Kennedy late one night at the
latter's home in 1983 according
to Larry King.

Reagan was totally incapable of
firing anyone.

Reagan had great advisers and
lousy advisers.

Reagan was a great leader, but
a lousy manager.

Leadership is an element of
Management.

He wanted to end nuclear war,
but settled for the INF Treaty.

Reagan was politically successful,
but not on substance.

Symbolism as leadership.

Substance as management.

Should Reagan have been President.

If you like all of him yes.

If there are parts of him you did not
like no.

I use to think yes, now I am not so sure.

DOING BUSINESS WITH RUSSIA

The Russians at this point are half
communist and half capitalist.

Their government still calls all the shots
in domestic affairs.

If you want someone to open the
door to the Russian Public you go to
Prime Minister Putin.

He is their strongman.

Its not the way we do business, but it
is the way they start doing business.

The main group to talk to in Russia
for information on that nation is the
FSB.

That's their security service.

Not the way we do business, but it is
the way they do business.

Once, you have credibility with them
entering their market should not be
that hard.

They are outside their military not
as advanced as us, Europe, or Japan.

That process of modernization will take
a generation or so.

That's the rule in political science or
philosophy.

They want to do business with the West,
but they do have a russian nationalism
that you have to be careful about.

They have a highly educated population
from my studies.

Though in the current time frame I am
not sure about that.

The best place to start on statistics about
them is at google: CIA and Russia.

Look for their World Fact Handbook
Website.

That will give you all the information to
start.

Its public information and a retired Air
Force Colonel told me about this website.

Yes, I am a civilian.

Russian Language classes are usually
offered at Universities.

There are Russian Americans in the
United States who have been here
for generations I think.

Larry King's family originally came
from Russia if I am not mistaken.

They are ready to do business at the
top of their government, but remember
their still half communist/half capitalist.

A lot like we were in 19th Century.

Traders.

NIXON AND CRIMINAL PSYCHIATRY

I have described how Nixon's use of
Criminal Psychiatry affected domestic
affairs.

How did he use it in Foreign Policy.

Nixon dealt with Charles DeGaulle of France
on a reasonable basis.

Actually, he was a fan of Nixon's

Nixon said that NATO was our blue chip in
international relations.

Nixon ended the Berlin Crisis in 1970 or so
and it was not a major issue again, until 1989.

Nixon used I think criminal psychiatry on the
Saudis because he got them to put their cash
reserves in American Banks.

If you want to see a real possibility of depression
study this point on the Banks Reserve Ratio
Requirement.

Nixon treated the Russian Politicians through the
use of Criminal Psychiatry.

At that point, they at the top were mafia dons.

So, yes, it was successful use of criminal psychiatry.

Stalin had murdered 50 million Russians or so in
the mid 20th Century.

Russian Leaders were paranoid at that point on
national security.

Nixon used Criminal Psychiatry in his dealings with
China.

Chairman Mao had murdered 50 million Chinese
or so.

Nixon seems to have taken a criminal psychiatry
approach to his dealings with our military on
strategy of dealing with North Vietnam.

Nixon was caught with 500,000 men in Vietnam
during the war in 1970.

The North just had to sit tight and wait him out.

The South had corruption, incompetence, and
failures everywhere you looked.

China and Russia were at each other's throats.

His grand strategy was all based on psychology.

Withdrawal from South Vietnam over several
years.

Build up the South, while using the stick of air
power and naval power on the North until the
South could fend for for itself.

Secretly make contact with the Chinese to set
up some semi-alliance against the Soviet Union.

Use the Chinese counterweight to manage the
emergence of the Soviet Union's modern military.

Force the Russians to deal with a ring of nations
hostile to them.

The 3 main players were the Soviet Union, the
Chinese, and the USA.

Triangular Diplomacy is what it is called.

Henry Kissinger was his main adviser in this
gigantic project.

They shut out William Rogers at State.

Kept the Pentagon at arm's length, except
North Vietnam attacks and building up
South Vietnam's military.

And I do not know about the rest of the
players in the national security community.

I think even Congress was shut out.

Criminal Psychiatry, yes, pick up Nixon's
books and you will see it throughout them.

His description of the difference between
Gorbachev and Kruschev.

Gorbachev was more intelligent and not
as fast.

Kruschev was faster and more brutal.

Is that Criminal Psychiatry at work.

Yes, competencies and incompetencies.

ECONOMICS: THE RETURN OF THE DEPRESSION

The economy is based on cash and barter.

The economy is based on a lot of secondhand
buying and selling.

The small business man or woman is king.

The big corporations are stuck trying to figure
out how to make money.

There is book I have seen, but not read called
The Return of Depression Economics.

I do not find that exactly happening in our
economy, but it is a useful reference.

Economic stagnation with some inflation at least
right now.

No Demand, no money, oversupply, and general
lack of confidence.

You make money through small businesses at a
volume on a discount.

15% profit level above cost maybe.

Basically, the economy has no credit and its all
cash.

The problem is most people do not have a lot
of cash to go around.

Make money on the small margins.

A repair of a tire for a nail should cost $10, but
$16.

Make small amounts of money at the margin.

Keep houses longer.

Keep cars longer.

Remove and Replace parts its cheaper.

This economy is also resistant to cheap imports.

Its a large internal market with a lot of small
businesses across a whole range of industries.

Kmart will fail eventually.

Walmart will survive.

GM will most likely fail.

Ford will survive.

A reordering of the economy if you will to
better fit our domestic needs.

THE AGE OF INDIVIDUAL POLITICS

Nixon is a negative icon.

Obama grew up under Nixon.

Obama is our generation's Nixon.

Obama has a command of international
relations and domestic affairs.

Obama is a good speechmaker.

Obama is good public figure, but a lousy
private individual.

No friends just history of the office.

Obama was supposed to lead a left wing
resurgence instead he has shattered both
ideologies.

George W. Bush destroyed the right wing
ideology.

Obama is failing on the left.

A Libertarian Republican Congress.

A Libertarian Republican President.

Human Resources instead of programs.

A reduction of government department
by department.

A reduction in taxes so that you have
a $5000 tax cut instead of a tax break.

A reduction of government regulation
in personal affairs.

A reduction of international interference,
except with muslim fascism.

That is if it is muslim fascism.

A Borg like Economy.

Entrepreneurs and their companies immune
to trade and exports.

Local Economics all over the place with
some integration with other local economies.

A Borg Like Economy is a concept out
of star trek the next generation.

Its already been adopted by Congress.

Individuals making their own transactions
without the government interfering.

Individuals deciding their own beliefs
regardless of the religious fanatics.

Individuals doing public service by
choice in the military or nonprofits.

Individuals wanting a strong national
defense, but hopefully reluctant to
use it again for a generation.

Individuals being creative within the
limits of society's norms.

Individuals who are humanists and
not ideologues.

Individuals who believe in a normal
lifestyle rather than a credit card
lifestyle.

An individual's lifestyle is based as
much as possible on freedom of
choice.

Human Resources instead of
Ideologies.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

Where does the democrat party fit into
the scheme of politics.

They represent the poor people and
corporate rich.

The Working Class would return to them
if they saw changes.

A purging of radicals like the 1960s feminists.

Neoconservatives belong in the democrat
party.

The Religious Right should be in the Democrat
Party.

George Will wrote in 1988 that a President
can be measured successful on his effect on
the other party.

Democrats moved to the right.

They elected Clinton.

I think Democrats always had two presidents
worth their salt Woodrow Wilson and
Harry Truman.

Democrats embody the House of Representatives
better because the House is driven by the
passions of the people.

That's the role of the Democrats to deal with
the passions of the public.

The problem is that democrats are caught with
2nd, 3rd, and 4th tier people who suffer from
group think.

You almost have do a Goldwater 1964 in the
democrat party to get moving again.

Liberalism has run its course and gotten a lot
of milleage out of FDR and JFK.

I wonder if what Margaret Thatcher thought of
Clement Atlee's dream.  Her dream was to
smash his.

What does it mean to be Democrat?  Living with
people who still think about the 1930s and 1960s.

What could be Liberalism on Economics.

What could be Communitarian on Economics.

What could be Liberalism on social issues.

What could be Communitarian on social issues.

What is Liberal on Foreign Policy.

What is Communitarian on Foreign Policy.

Conservatives have failed to articulate a new vision
and so have liberals.

TV Commericals, Emails, Twitter, Newspaper
advertisements.

A dual cultural competitive shift.

Bury Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.

Libertarian Populism and Communitarian Populism.

Republicans dominant now democrats coming back
in 15 years.

We need to fix individuals now and not groups.

However, history at the wheel turn's every so often.

Realignment now to the Republicans in a generation
to the democrats.

The debate will never end right now the individual.

United States Army: Fort Hood

This major hanan or whoever he is
should not be put to death.

He should be in a prison in Alaska.

No death, no honor.

Isolation in a desolate region, no hope.

Life in Prison with no parole.  Religion
is useless.

Bleakness not execution.

Depression not sleep.

Torment and not results.

Muslim Fascists want to die in a honorable
way.

They think they go to their heaven.

Deny them that you deny them paradise
in their minds.

Cold.  Yes.

Brutal.  Yes.

Absolute.  Life Sentence.  NO Parole.

Make him think about his crime.

The penalty should fit the crime as most
effective per individual.

Rich People fear jail.  Not fines.

Poor People are screwed through fines
not jail.  They accept jail, but have no
money.

Chrisitans in some cases have a holier
than thou attitude jail works beautifully
on them.

Muslims want death as a release from
a depressive world.

Deny him death and he dies each day
worse than in an execution.

Libertarian Republican #337

NIXON AND CRIMINAL PSYCHIATRY

The culture of the United States has been
corroded over the last 40 years.

A strange strain of anti-government thinking
works in both parties.

The Republicans have always been against big
government, but they at their 2nd, 3rd, 4th level
of people are arrogant to the point of psychotic
about being anti-government.

Paranoid about any compromises with democrats.

Democrats find the culture hostile to government
activism of any kind.

Hollywood is full of Liberals who appear to have
no use for Republicans.

Movies on Republican Presidents are about
scandals.

Movies on Democrats are about the mythic
figures of the past JFK and FDR.

New York is full of people who are out to make
money at any cost or ethics or laws.

The public has deep and ingrained sense of
cynicism.

Is Nixon the reason for all this?  I think it is echoes.

Nixon was immoral.

Nixon's exposure of his dark side: the criminal
psychiatrist traumatized the population from
1972 to 1974.

As a result, we developed habitual thinking patterns
of anti-government and have a lack of confidence
in anything of our culture.

In essence, Nixon's dark side caused a trauma to
the national psyche that transcends generations.

From my parents, to me, to my nephew.

Ongoing self-destruction culture.

Is that what he caused.

Libertarian Republican #336

ECONOMICS: THE NARCOTIC OF WELFARE

The narcotic of welfare.

That statement was in Reagan: A Life by Reagan.

It was not said by Reagan or Nixon, but by Franklin
Delano Roosevelt.

Yes, he thought his own new deal was illegal drugs.

Government Programs serve some economic function,
but they restrict your economic activity.

They subsidize waste, fraud, and abuse.

They subsidize the lazy and indignants.

They hurt workers who have to pay the taxes.

They hurt corporations for subsidizing the government
when it should be invested in business ventures.

They distort indirectly economic activity on the macro
level as well as the microlevel.

They keep people from working who should work.

They keep people working who should be looking for
a real job.

They subsidize corporations that can't compete, while
hindering entrepreneurs who might be able to compete.

Government Programs help the rich maintain their wealth
and the poor maintain their entrapment.

The middle class get's screwed through taxes and lack of
access to these programs.

Economics of the Welfare State: Narcotics.

Cut the Federal Budget by a $1 Trillion Dollars and you
might see some real change in the economy although it
would take 5 to 10 years.

In essence, our Human Resources are on narcotics and
our economy is paying the price in lost production,
productivity, innovation, and quality.

THE GOVERNMENT OPTION

Most Republicans campaign on supplyside
economics out of a campaign mantra.

Meaning, they believe in rational approaches
to government including tax cuts.

They just do not buy the baloney of supply
side economics.

Democrats push the Government Option
because it get's them votes.

Democrats know the role of the Senate
as the place where ideas go to die.

Meaning, House and Senate Democrats
know its futile to try and pass the Government
Option with the Senate Republican Filibuster
ever present.

They hope for passage, but know it will never
come.
